Overview
Staged at Emirates Golf Club, the tournament is fondly referred to as the ‘Major of the Middle East,’ because of its legacy and world-class field that it attracts every year. Since its inception the tournament has continued to innovate year-on-year with an impressive indoor and outdoor hospitality facility to complement Dubai’s perfect climate in January. The field for 2025’s Dubai Desert Classic included Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood and the eventual winner, Tyrrell Hatton.
Rich in heritage the Dubai Desert Classic was born in 1989 and is regarded as one of the DP World Tour’s most historic events. It has helped to pave the way for golf’s presence in the Middle East and has created some of the most iconic moments in recent history.
When you’re not watching McIlroy and co battle for top prize, you’ll test your skills at four of the top golf courses in the UAE and tee it up with the epic Dubai city skyline as your backdrop. All this, while based at the sumptuous five-star Park Hyatt Dubai.
Away from the golf action, the tournament offers a range of attractions, food options and entertainment.
