As the Founder and Director of Golftreks, I’ve turned my lifelong love for travel, world-class service, and the game of golf into a business dedicated to creating journeys you’ll talk about for years to come. My 14 years in the travel industry — from eight unforgettable years flying with Emirates, Virgin Australia, and OzJet, to six years crafting bespoke trips as a travel agent — have taken me to some of the world’s most spectacular golf and leisure destinations. Along the way, I’ve built a trusted network of industry leaders in both golf and travel, giving Golftreks clients access to experiences and opportunities you simply won’t find anywhere else.

Dale Walsh

Golf Director

With more than 20 years in the golf industry, Dale Walsh brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and passion to his role as Golf Manager at Golftreks. A former PGA Professional, Dale’s career highlights include winning the 1995 PNG Dunhill Open and twice competing in the prestigious Sarazen World Open on the PGA Tour in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also claimed multiple local Pro-Am victories and was the inaugural winner of the Holden Scramble.

Following his competitive career, Dale transitioned into coaching, holding teaching positions at Palm Meadows, Colonial Golf Course, and Golf Central at Brisbane Airport, where he shared his knowledge and love for the game with players of all levels.

In addition to his golfing pedigree, Dale has a strong background in marketing and manages the technical operations of the Golftreks web portal. He is also responsible for sourcing the very best golf travel experiences for our clients. With an instinctive understanding of what golfers value most, Dale curates unforgettable itineraries and hosts select luxury packages alongside a hand-picked team of PGA Professionals — ensuring every Golftreks journey is a truly memorable one.
